Application FAQs

How do we enrol to a UWC?

To be able to apply through the Lebanese National Committee, you must fit our eligibility criteria and submit an online application. If you are admitted, you will have to participate in two rounds of subsequent admissions, to be deemed as UWC qualified. After that, we will assess your financial situation to be able to match you to one of our yearly offers. If you wish to apply through the Global Selections Program, please visit the GSP page.

Does everyone who gets accepted receive a scholarship?

Depending on your financial capabilities, you will be provided with a need-based scholarship.

Can I choose the UWC I want to go to?

If you are applying through the Lebanese National Committee, you will be able to provide a preference, however, we try to match all our candidates' financial capabilities with scholarship offers of that selection year. If you wish to apply through the Global Selections Program, please visit the GSP page.

Do I need to prepare anything for the stages of selection?

We do not ask our candidates to prepare anything beforehand, except bringing their most enthusiastic selves. If we do, exceptionally, ask you to prepare something, we will inform all our candidates in a timely manner.

Which grade reports should I submit? and should they be translated?

We ask of you to submit your yearly grade reports from the last two years of your education, and the most recent grade report of the current year. We would also need them to be translated into English if they are in Arabic or French.

What should I do if my current grade reports did not come out yet?

We will make a note of that and would ask you to submit it later on. Make sure to inform us at applications@lb.uwc.org

How will I know if I got promoted to the next round?

We will send you an email accordingly, following the dates mentioned on our Process and Dates page.
