What We Do
The UWC Lebanon National Committee is primarily responsible for the selection of students to participate in the UWC movement through the 2-year IB program at one of 18 colleges worldwide, or UWC Short Courses (which last 2-4 weeks).
This process involves promotion and outreach to communities and schools throughout the country. We aim to select students from diverse backgrounds, with equal consideration given to candidates’ academic potential and character. We then collect and assess application forms and relevant documents and conduct subsequent selection activities for short-listed candidates.
The National Committee (NC) is also responsible for supporting its students throughout the two-year process and engaging with its community of alumni, parents and supporters.
